Halton Catholic Children’s Foundation Announces New Executive Director

July 07, 2023

Halton Catholic Children’s Foundation (HCCF) announces the appointment of Victoria Craig as the new HCCF Executive Director starting July 31, 2023.

“We are extremely pleased to have Ms. Craig joining our team at the end of the month,” says James McInnis, Chair, HCCF Board of Directors. “Her strong leadership skills, combined with her experience in marketing, sales, public speaking, brand management, and general business acumen will be a versatile and much appreciated skill set at HCCF.”

Ms. Craig, whose background includes senior-level positions across a variety of corporate entities, media publishers, and who also operates as a Certified Motivational Speaking Professional & Business Coach, is a graduate of both New Brunswick Community College and the University of New Brunswick, holding a Diploma in Business, Management, Marketing and Related Support Services, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

The Executive Director role, which reports to the HCCF Board of Directors, seeks to continue building relationships within the Halton community as well as grow both the size of HCCF’s donor base as well as the amount of funds raised in order to support as many at-risk students and their families in Halton’s Catholic community as possible.

“I am both honoured and excited to be joining the Halton Catholic Children’s Foundation team as Executive Director,” says Victoria Craig. “There is so much opportunity to help more students and their families through funding support to ensure excellent and more equalized educational experiences for our Halton Catholic District School Board students. I believe that the power of both passion and compassion will help us to achieve HCCF’s funding goals – alongside refreshed messaging and community relationship-building. I am looking forward to getting started and to making a difference both at HCCF and in the Halton Catholic community.”

“HCCF and our Board are committed to ongoing success in serving the Halton Catholic Community,” continues Mr. McInnis. “With Ms. Craig joining our team, we believe we have the best chance of continuing our success. Welcome Victoria!”

The Halton Catholic Children’s Foundation (HCCF) is an independent charity that has partnered with the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) to support their students and families in need. HCCF raises funds to help HCDSB students overcome financial barriers to learning, which helps these students succeed in school.

We raise funds to help cover costs for:

  • Basic necessities, such as food and clothing, school supplies, shoes, eyeglasses, personal hygiene items, and learning technology
  • School activities with a fee, such as school trips, team fees, and other learning materials
