Lina Giammarco, Vice-Chair

As a dedicated educator with the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) for the last 17 years, I spend my days working with children and staff as a Special Education Resource Teacher (SERT).

Beyond the bell, my husband Roberto and I are proud parents to two beautiful daughters, Simona and Alessia, who love to ride bikes, read stories, and make a mess wherever they go.

My wish for all children is that they feel empowered to use their voices and talents to follow their passions and do what makes them happy.

As a member of the Halton Catholic Children’s Foundation (HCCF) Board of Directors, I strive to advocate for all children, particularly those in need, to ensure they have all the tools necessary to succeed. The support provided to families often helps to ensure equity and inclusion among our students and in our school communities.

I am honoured to serve on a board that works for students and embodies our Catholic faith.
