Derek Hebb

With four children attending HCDSB schools (two now in university), my wife, Denise, and I have been actively involved in our school community for over 15 years. We are also parishioners at St. Raphael’s in Burlington.

Every December, CIBC Wood Gundy and Investment Advisors like me, participate in Children’s Miracle Day by donating our revenues to children’s charities across Canada. Recognizing the need in our own backyard, I made the decision to support the HCCF through my donations. This led to an invitation by Marc Clare, our Executive Director, to join the HCCF Board of Directors in 2019.

I look forward to continue working with my fellow board members to build the resources and awareness of the HCCF in order to meet the growing needs of families and students seeking our support.
