St. Patrick Catholic Elementary School Marches with Heart in Support of HCDSB Students
The spirit of generosity was on full display at St. Patrick Catholic Elementary School as the school held a spirit day fundraiser in support of the Halton Catholic Children’s Foundation (HCCF)’s March with Heart campaign.
For a $2 donation, students and staff were invited to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by dressing up in the colours of the Irish flag. A festive photo booth added to the excitement of the day and gave classes the opportunity to capture joyful memories while supporting an important cause. Thanks to the generosity from students, staff and families, the school raised over $400 to support students across Halton!

About March with Heart
In its first year, HCCF’s March with Heart campaign encourages schools across Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) to take part in simple, meaningful fundraising activities that make a real difference in the lives of students.
“March with Heart is an opportunity for schools to decide how they want to give back, and St. Patrick Catholic Elementary is a wonderful example of that,” said Victoria Craig-Dekoninck, Executive Director of HCCF. “Schools across HCDSB have shown incredible enthusiasm and generosity, and we’re grateful for their shared commitment to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed at school.”
Funds raised through initiatives like March with Heart help HCCF provide students with essential items such as:
- Food and clothing
- School supplies and shoes
- Personal hygiene items
- Learning materials and technology
- Support for school trips, team fees, and other school activities
You can be part of this impact.
By supporting HCCF, you are helping remove barriers to learning and ensuring students have access to the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.
