On November 14th, the Halton Catholic Children’s Foundation (HCCF) hosted an unforgettable evening at our 14^th annual Evening with Bishop Crosby Gala. Held at the beautiful Oakville Conference Centre, this signature event brought together community members, business leaders, and educators to celebrate the spirit of giving and support for students in need across the Halton Catholic District School Board.

The evening was graced by the presence of His Excellency Bishop Douglas Crosby, whose inspiring words reminded us of our shared mission to ensure every child has access to the resources they need to succeed. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal, lively entertainment, and opportunities to connect with others who are passionate about making a difference.

Making a Difference Together
This year’s gala was particularly special as we bid a sad farewell to Alice Anne LeMay who, as a Halton Catholic School Board Trustee, was a faithful supporter of this charity. With your generosity, the event raised an incredible $30,000, all of which will directly benefit HCCF programs. These funds will help provide financial assistance for basic needs, learning resources, and extracurricular opportunities for students facing financial barriers. Your gracious support will help us provide up to 3,750 school lunches or 60 Chromebooks or support 100 families in crisis.
